This headline describes our first reaction when we got the news that our offer for creating and developing an official site for Toyota Macedonia was accepted. Also it restored my faith in hard work commitment and dedication in doing something that you really love and knowing that is well appreciated. The most important thing is that this web site and “Toyota Avto Centar” as our clients came in time when our agency was at the begging and we were struggling to get our name out there. This project represented our biggest test yet and we where determent to give our best and overcome the challenge named Toyota…

We were approached by our client “Vitaminka” to come up with a print advertisement for one of their products. The challenge was to create a visual environment that will represent all its attributes. We have a drink here that’s refreshing, rich with vitamins, suitable for everyone and comes in two flavors – orange and lemon. It was natural to transform all these characteristics into visual objects. Firstly, we took pictures of the package and prepared them for the design. We started with a orange-yellow background and positioning of the product on our main stage and we worked our way around it by creating all the support elements (illustrations) of leafs, the orange, the lemon and ice cubes which reflected everything this product represents – A Fresh Taste Of Summer.

This project sure was challenge. As the process expanded itself, I realized that I should go on a more “safe” concept, a logo that is strong, symbolic, yet expressive. The logo, keeps its geometrical basics, with a clear tendency of tuning

The creation of the Triple S brochure was a true pleasure for we got an assignment to design a luxurious piece or a so called no-compromise-quality brochure.
The end product satisfied our high criteria and our clients expectations.

Nowadays, all I can see ( without the excellent exceptions) are the “remains” of the popular and “trendy” glossy graphic styles, which bloomed in enormous proportions not so long ago ( like 10000 years ago:). And then, came the backup, wonderful pixelized icons, retro pop pink-glossy buttons….where does it ends? It’s a fact, like in every industry, there are certain mainstreams, including this one, but I was wondering, just because it’s popular, does it mean it’s good and tasteful? I even went to the point, where I’ve questioned my freedom and creativity as a graphic designer! How original and own-style can anyone be in this business & how deep can you go with your imagination, if it’s already well profound and individualized? But, our eyes wide open when we see those magical lightning objects, right!?

While creating web site JOKER.COM.MK we started with one design and while completely finishing all HTML pages we have realized that after so many changes the design has gone in wrong way. So we have stopped all activities and took another approach, all pages had been redesigned differently and we have added some interactivity (click on the ball) so the web site JOKER has started to look entertaining for every visitor.

If it’s a bright idea, that’s good.
If it’s well executed, that’s good too.
But if it’s a persuasive execution of
a terrific idea . . . that’s advertising
